Courtney and Jason’s Summer Wedding at Heritage Prairie Farm

There’s something special about photographing a wedding for someone you’ve known forever. Courtney and I go all the way back to our Chili’s days, slinging fajitas, laughing through double shifts, and figuring out life. Seeing her marry Jason at Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn felt like coming full circle in the best way.

Their day was everything that makes summer farm weddings in Illinois so good. Warm air, big skies, that soft golden light Heritage Prairie Farm is known for, and a couple who genuinely couldn’t stop smiling at each other.

Heritage Prairie Farm is one of those venues that makes storytelling easy. The gardens, the greenhouse, the fields at sunset… it all comes together so naturally. And Courtney and Jason fit right into that scenery in the most effortless way.
